The Sunday Telegraph recently published an article on their favourite small independent shops, a subject that is obviously of keen interest to us as local retailers. They muse on the pleasure of finding small independent businesses that have real character, depth of knowledge and an enthusiasm that they are able to share with their customers. In turn these customers pass on the delight and enthusiasm to their friends.
In that same spirit, the newspapers assembled a panel of their own experts, who truly believe in the importance of the small independent shop for their community and local streets and to share their favourites.
We feel very proud and delighted to see that our two shops in N8 and N10 were included on this list of “50 best independent retailers” selected by Diana Henry:
